We’ve been watching old Rob Redford movies since his recent death. This is one we both remembered vaguely, and it lived up to our recollections of Redford handsomely displaying his low-key wit in what successfully passed as a “thriller” in 1991. We had forgotten this was also one of River Phoenix’ final movies before his death in 1993. No boobs, but that wasn’t a problem as Jared kept his eyes open and mostly on the movie throughout, in spite of the lack of special effects or explosions.
