Mrs. Henderson Presents, a comedy about the real widow Henderson who opened a nude theatre in WWII London, is a lost treasure from the Judy Dench files. It was released in 2005 and while it garnered 2 Emmy nominations, neither I nor My Friend Kate had heard of this innocently raunchy period comedy, which has a lot going for it as a movie for couples: a brisk pace, beautiful costumes, musical theatre numbers, a little romance, a lot of laughs, a few war scenes and, best of all, naked ladies. So many BOOBS!! Jared was sleepy but I shouted BOOBS! every time there was another nude scene and he perked right up. The few war scenes are not graphic, and serve to get the boys alert before they are rewarded with a final nude scene to close out the movie.
